Our Story

Paresh Thaker has been creating hand-crafted jewellery, made from silver, gold and gemstones, since 1995. His love of jewellery making started with a course in 1990. This was followed by extensive travel in Africa and India where he learnt the art of gemstone carving and created many of his trade mark rings and pendants that we see today.

Paresh met his partner Andrea Bingham in India and together they came back to England and set up their business, Saffron Alice. Paresh makes contemporary pendants, rings and earrings using traditional jewellery-making techniques, machine engraving and modern methods. The gemstones are all hand chosen and are of excellent quality. Andrea complements Paresh’s style with her beautiful beaded jewellery made from semi-precious stones with sterling silver and gold plated beads.
